Thank you!

Over the holiday season I've had extra time to pause and reflect on my gratitude for you. You being here and reading my letter is bigger than you might think. Not to be understated: you're supporting the goal of bringing psychedelic healing therapies to countless people around the country!

In March of 2023 I set out with a mission to introduce 10,000 licensed therapists to the potential of psychedelic therapies. I plan to pursue this for at least 5 years and in just 8 months we're over 2% of the way there, so thank you for doing your part! If you have therapists in your network who should be here, please forward this to them and invite them to subscribe 🙏

Why We're Here

There's a massive gap between clients suffering with mental health conditions seeking access to psychedelic therapies - and licensed providers competent enough to have those discussions. We are here to close this gap.

We've been working hard in 2023 to close this gap. In addition to the Therapist Integration letters and council meetings, we created an Integration Toolkit to support productive conversations between therapists and clients, drafted an extensive Ethical Due Diligence paper to demonstrate one way you can navigate the ethical/legal landscape, and I post regularly on these topics on LinkedIn.

I've also been stepping out of my comfort zone to get the word out via podcast interviews. Below are a few you can listen to at your leisure...

➡️ Your Feedback

To help prioritize actions for next year, please submit your feedback in this short survey.

➡️ Monthly Council Meetings

I've been thinking of ways to streamline the monthly council meetings (consultation calls) and will be sending updates on this soon. In short, it will be much easier to join!

➡️ More Partnerships

I'm in talks with several stakeholders and plan to have more great partnered newsletter and recorded sessions in 2024.

➡️ Open Source Contributions?

If you hadn't heard, the Open Source Psychedelic Assisted Therapist (OSPAT) curriculum now has 53 stars on GitHub! Contributing to an open-source project like this can be a great way for you to take the dive and get more involved (while also boosting your resume). Learn how to contribute.

Thanks again for a great 2023 and looking forward to spending 2024 with you as well!

Until next time,

Chris
