  • This month's Therapist Integration Council meeting will have a slightly different spin on 'council'! A Toolkit for Productive Client-Therapist Conversations

I talk with therapists all the time and one theme continues to stand out: they don't feel confident or comfortable approaching a conversation with clients about psychedelics and integration therapy.

Interestingly, I've heard similar sentiments from therapy seekers: they don't feel comfortable or know how to approach the conversation with a therapist.

At the same time, therapists already have many of the skills required to offer support during someone's integration process. There's A LOT of incredible healing work that could be happening right now, but isn't due to fear and uncertainty on both sides of the therapy room.

I made a toolkit to solve this problem. Built with clients in mind and using a harm-reduction approach, the toolkit includes:

  • Reflection worksheet to help clients/seekers process a psychedelic experience and share with a therapist.
  • Tools to leverage the window of neuroplasticity after a psychedelic experience.
  • A list of specialized directories to help seekers find therapists.
  • Thoughtful considerations for preparation and intention setting.
  • Ideas for how to talk w/ a therapist about psychedelic therapy.
  • Resources & Further Reading for clients/seekers to support their integration therapy process.
  • Comprehensive resource list for therapists as well, including guidebooks, courses, and consultation groups.

I've already shared it with a few of my clients and it's made conversations easier for us too!

Whether you choose to share it with clients or not, I know you'll gain some insight and the list of Resources & Further Reading will keep you busy and learning for a while!

Right now it's FREE until the end of the year, so grab a copy today!

If you choose to pay a fair price, that's awesome too 😊 Regardless, I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback, so feel free to reach out any time!

Until next time,

Chris
